Surface Construction & Underground Construction


  • Relocation of a 600 kW double drum winder from Foster Shaft to Junction Shaft for Western Mining Corporation.

  • Refurbishment and installation of fully automatic 370 kW winder for use as the service winder at Bounty shaft. This work included all new electrical controls, new brake hydraulic power pack and other mechanical refurbishment.

  • Design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of winder, headframe and rope guided mancage for the Dartbrook Coal Mine in NSW.

  • Detail design, manufacture and construction of the rail wagon indexing system and cover handling facility for Pasminco Mining Broken Hill. Refurbishment and re-configuration of the Yimuyn Manjerr (previously Mt Todd) 8 MTPA Gold process plant on a design and construction basis.

  • Detail design, manufacture and site installation of the main cage rescue system at Pasminco Elura Mine.

  • Design, manufacture and site installation of emergency egress hoisting system at Ridgeway.

  • Design, manufacture and installation of second egress hoist system for Peak mine Cobar, 4m diameter, 900m deep.

  • Design and construction of 400 TPH paste fill plant Mt Isa.

Underground Construction
  • Manufacture and installation of a 1000 tonne underground coal storage bin discharge hopper at the Westcliff Coal Mine, NSW.

  • Manufacture, supply and installation of a shaft hoisting loading and tipping station for an internal hoisting shaft at the CSA mine Cobar.

  • Manufacture, supply and install a truck tipping, and loading station for the internal hoisting shaft at the CSA mine Cobar.

  • Manufacture and installation of a grizzly station at the CSA mine Cobar.

  • Manufacture, installation and commissioning of the underground loading station for Robinson shaft at Olympic Dam, Western Mining Corporation, SA.

  • Design and construction of a major underground pump station at the Woodcutters mine.

  • Design and construction of a major underground pump station at the Kanowna Belle mine for North Ltd.

  • Design and construction of a major underground workshop for the Kanowna Belle Gold Mine - North Ltd.

  • Design and construction of the materials handling facilities for Cemented Backfill Systems at both the Bronzewing Gold Mine and Kanowna Belle Gold Mine.

  • Design, manufacture and installation of tail ropes chairing system in No 3 Shaft at WMC Olympic Dam.

  • Manufacture and construction of trunk and portal conveyors and transfer station for a 6 MTPA conveying system at Ridgeway gold mine.

  • Rehabilitation of Leinster haulage shaft, loading station and conveyor and feeder.

  • Ground support for ore passes and installation of truck loading feeders.

  • Rehabilitation of shaft at Blackwater Mine, NZ for Oceana Gold in preparation for re-commencement of mining.

  • Shaft stripping of shafts at Kimberley Nickel, Sally Malay shaft, 3m dia by 100m deep.
